UP CM Yogi Adityanath to launch 69 projects in Gonda
Development projects worth over Rs 520 crore will be inaugurated or have foundation stones laid in Mankapur and Gaura constituencies.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate or lay foundation stones for 69 development projects worth over Rs 520 crore in the Mankapur and Gaura assembly constituencies of Gonda district on Monday, according to ANI.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is focused on expanding public amenities and improving grassroots livelihoods. He said the 'double-engine' government is committed to ensuring welfare schemes bring prosperity to those at the last rung of the social ladder.
During the event, approval letters and cheques will be distributed to beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. Adityanath also noted that the grand Deepotsav celebrations in Shri Ayodhya Dham are generating new business and livelihood opportunities for farmers, local artisans, and small-scale traders.
The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance for the transformation seen during Deepotsav. He alleged that before 2017, there was a lack of vision to connect Ayodhya's cultural potential with the economic prosperity of local workers.
Adityanath said the Deepotsav, illuminated by hundreds of thousands of lamps, is creating new avenues for work for potters, labourers, and small-scale traders.
