The Chief Minister will begin his programme in the Chauri Chaura Assembly constituency, where he will open a railway overbridge at Bhopa Bazaar. Built for ₹59.44 crore, the 650-metre-long bridge is intended to reduce traffic congestion at railway crossing number 147B on the Gorakhpur-Bhatni section.
Adityanath will also inaugurate the first phase of the Godhoiya Nala project, which cost ₹495.24 crore. This phase includes a 7.75-km covered concrete drain, 17.50 km of intercepting sewer lines, and a sewage treatment plant with a 38 MLD capacity.
The Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for several other works, including the ₹92.72 crore second phase of the Godhoiya Nala project and a ₹65.93 crore road running parallel to the drain. He will also start the Gorakhpur Sewerage Scheme Zone A3, valued at ₹721.40 crore.
The Zone A3 sewerage scheme, approved under the AMRUT 2.0 programme, involves laying about 350 km of sewer lines across 17 wards. The project aims to provide 43,604 household sewer connections and will include two intermediate pumping stations with capacities of 37.50 MLD and 27 MLD.
