Yogi Adityanath ranks first in national Best Chief Minister survey

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister secured the top position in a survey conducted by Fame India Magazine and Asia Post.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has secured the first position in the ‘Best Chief Minister Survey 2026’, according to The Statesman. The joint survey was conducted by Fame India Magazine and Asia Post, involving 15 Chief Ministers across the country.

Adityanath received a score of 897 out of 1,000. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ranked second with 881 points, while Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma placed third with 874 points.

The survey, which lasted approximately three to four months, used a three-tier process to evaluate public perception, views from intellectuals, and direct interactions with ordinary citizens. The assessment was based on ten parameters, including administrative efficiency, leadership, law and order, and the impact of policies.

The evaluation also looked at how Chief Ministers manage departments, their public popularity, vision, and the quality of service delivery. The top ten performers were placed in the ‘Best Chief Minister’ category, while those ranked from 11th to 15th were included in the ‘Chief Minister Pancharatna’ category.
