Ayodhya Deepotsav displays values of sacrifice and dignity, says Yogi Adityanath
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister described the 10th grand festival as a celebration of India's cultural pride and eternal consciousness.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that the Deepotsav in Ayodhya presents the principles of dedication, dignity, and sacrifice to the world. According to The Hawk, the Chief Minister shared these views in a special message titled ‘Yogi Ki Pati’ regarding the 10th grand Deepotsav.
The Chief Minister described the festival as a celebration of India's cultural pride and eternal consciousness. He noted that the event symbolises a transition from darkness to light and from despair to hope.
Adityanath recalled the Ramayana, mentioning how Bharat renounced royal comforts to govern Ayodhya by placing Lord Ram's footwear on the throne. He stated that this episode teaches that true power is about responsibility rather than authority.
The Chief Minister said the illumination of Ram Ki Paidi and the banks of the Saryu with lakhs of earthen lamps created an enchanting spectacle. He added that drone-based aerial presentations and participating artists contributed to the grandeur.
Highlighting the economic impact, Adityanath said the celebrations create income and employment for local traders, hotel operators, flower sellers, and potters. He stated that Uttar Pradesh has established an identity as a state of festivals by using faith and public participation as tools for development.
The Chief Minister urged people to support local artisans by purchasing their products and encouraged citizens to share the joy of the festival with underprivileged families. He also invited people to visit Ayodhya with their families to witness the celebrations.
