Hardik Pandya may join Punjab Kings in reported IPL 2027 trade

Mumbai Indians could receive Arshdeep Singh and Vishnu Vinod in exchange for the all-rounder, according to reports.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) are reportedly nearing a deal to acquire Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya ahead of the IPL 2027 season. According to reports from Prabhat Khabar and the Free Press Journal, the trade would see Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Vishnu Vinod move to Mumbai Indians.

The senior management of both franchises have reportedly reached an agreement on the exchange. The deal is currently awaiting necessary documentation from IPL officials, with an official announcement expected by the end of this week before the November 17 retention deadline.

Punjab Kings are looking to add an experienced Indian all-rounder to their squad to strengthen their middle order and bowling options. The franchise is reportedly willing to part with Arshdeep Singh to secure Pandya's services.

In return, Mumbai Indians would gain a fast-bowling option in Arshdeep Singh and an additional wicketkeeper-batter in Vishnu Vinod. The trade has not yet been formally confirmed by either franchise or the IPL governing body.
