The induction fills a ministerial vacancy in the Pramod Sawant-led government that has been open since October last year.
Panaji BJP MLA Sankalp Amonkar took his oath as a cabinet minister in the Goa government on Saturday, November 7, 2026, according to The Hindu.
Governor P. Ashok Gajapathy Raju administered the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony in Lok Bhavan, Dona Paula. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and other cabinet members were present during the event.
