BJP president alleges Jharkhand minister says Congress seeks to create anarchy
Nitin Nabin demanded a response from Rahul Gandhi regarding remarks made by Jharkhand Minister Irfan Ansari.
New Delhi BJP President Nitin Nabin on Friday alleged that Jharkhand Minister Irfan Ansari stated that the Congress party is prepared to cause instability and anarchy in India at the direction of Rahul Gandhi, according to The Hindu and ThePrint.
The allegations against the Congress leader follow comments made by Ansari, a minister in the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led government. Ansari claimed that the central government's policies have ruined the nation and stated that 40 lakh youths are currently on the streets.
Speaking to PTI Videos, Ansari said these youths only require an order and will not go beyond Rahul Gandhi. He further questioned if the armed forces could stop students and noted that farmers, Dalits, Adivasis, Muslims, and the middle class are all in distress.
Ansari also suggested that an emergency would occur if the Prime Minister does not address these issues. He was responding to questions regarding the Agniveer recruitment scheme and remarks made by Gandhi about US mid-term polls.
In a post on X, Nabin asked Gandhi what his silence on these statements signified. The BJP chief questioned if the Congress leader was providing patronage to those attempting to undermine the country's stability.
