Arnold Schwarzenegger's charity night raises record $9.75 million for students
The funds will support After-School All-Stars and its free programmes for nearly 150,000 students across the United States.
Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's annual charity event in Los Angeles raised a record $9.75 million to support After-School All-Stars. According to a Times of India report, the 13th annual Arnold Schwarzenegger–Westime Charity Night was held earlier in October at Schwarzenegger's home.
The funds will benefit the non-profit organisation, which provides free after-school and summer learning programmes to nearly 150,000 students at more than 750 schools and community sites across the United States. The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative reported the achievement in an October 14, 2026, update.
The event was co-hosted by Schwarzenegger and John Simonian, the founder of luxury watch retailer Westime and a board member of After-School All-Stars. The Western-themed celebration included a live auction and performances by the Mariachi Divas and Mateo Lopez.
After-School All-Stars co-founded by Schwarzenegger more than three decades ago, focuses on academic support and enrichment activities. CEO Ben Paul said that supportive relationships between students and staff are central to the organisation's mission.
The fundraising total represents an investment in the futures of students to help them discover interests and work towards educational goals. The organisation confirmed the achievement in an October 22 post on its official website.
