Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate or lay foundation stones for 69 development projects worth over Rs 520 crore in Gonda district on Monday, according to ANI. The projects are located in the Mankapur and Gaura assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister stated on X that the government aims to increase public facilities and improve the lives of people at the grassroots level. He said the 'double-engine' government is dedicated to ensuring welfare schemes bring prosperity to those at the bottom of the social ladder.
During the event, approval letters and cheques will be handed out to people benefiting from various public welfare schemes. Adityanath also noted that the Deepotsav celebrations in Shri Ayodhya Dham are creating new ways for small-scale traders, farmers, and potters to earn a living.
The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this economic impact and alleged that previous governments before 2017 failed to link Ayodhya's cultural significance with the economic growth of local workers and artisans.
