Norton reveals new 450cc urban motorcycle for 2027 launch

The single-cylinder motorcycle features a 454cc liquid-cooled engine and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen.

Norton Motorcycles has revealed a new 450cc urban motorcycle, according to RushLane. The announcement was made on November 2, ahead of a public debut at EICMA on November 3.

The motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled 454cc single-cylinder engine that produces 45 Nm of torque. Norton stated the engine was developed for responsive and accessible performance for urban riding. While peak power has not been announced, it is expected to deliver around 40–45 bhp.

The bike features an aluminium frame, upside-down front forks, alloy wheels, and disc brakes on both wheels. It also includes an 8-inch TFT touchscreen with advanced connectivity.

The design includes a compact, angular headlamp, a sculpted tank, a slim seat, and a raised tail. The rear bodywork is short, leaving much of the rear wheel exposed.

Sales are scheduled to begin in 2027, though the official model name has not been confirmed. Norton is currently preparing to introduce the brand into India and the United States.
