Police are searching for a concrete mixer truck driver who fled the scene after the collision on Monday night.

Two men died following a collision between a concrete mixer truck and a scooty near the old police station in Delhi's Khajuri Khas area late on Monday night, according to reports by ANI and The Tribune.

The victims have been identified as 30-year-old Santosh, a resident of Pakki Khajuri, and 33-year-old Pawan, who lived in Gali Number 24 in Khajuri Khas.

Police received an emergency call at 11:55 pm on November 2 and dispatched a team to the site, where they found both men with severe injuries.

One victim was taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital by family members, while the other was transported there by police, but medical staff declared both dead upon arrival.

The bodies were subsequently moved to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
