Crime Branch investigates Kerala PSC over examination irregularity allegations

A Special Investigation Team is examining complaints regarding recruitment lapses and manipulation in several government job examinations.

The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is facing investigations by the Crime Branch following allegations of recruitment malpractice and evaluation lapses, according to The Hindu.

The scrutiny began after it was found that certain answers were not evaluated during a 2023 examination for senior positions in the State Planning Board.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to look into these complaints. The SIT is led by Inspector General of Police S. Ajeetha Begum.

The investigation covers multiple recruitment examinations conducted by the state's principal agency for government jobs.
