Mbappe scores as Real Madrid beat Racing Santander 3-0

The victory marks a sixth consecutive win in all competitions for the third-placed Spanish side.

Real Madrid defeated hosts Racing Santander 3-0 in La Liga on Sunday to secure their sixth straight victory across all competitions, according to Sportstar and Business Standard.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a penalty after being fouled. Jude Bellingham added a second in the 22nd minute by dribbling past goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala, marking the England midfielder's 50th goal for the club.

Summer signing Yan Diomande extended the lead to 3-0 with a strike before the halftime break. Mbappe hit the post an hour into the match but did not score again.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said the team is progressively improving despite having been together for less than four months.

The win keeps Real Madrid in third place, one point behind Atletico Madrid and three points behind league leaders Barcelona. Racing Santander remains in 16th place, one point above the relegation zone.

During the second half, Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouameni struck a young fan in the stands with a shot. The child did not appear seriously hurt, and Tchouameni later met the fan to give them an autographed jersey.
