CIMA Art Mela to open in New Delhi this November
The fair aims to democratise art by offering works from modern masters and emerging artists at accessible price points.
The Centre of International Modern Art (CIMA), Kolkata, will host the Art Mela in New Delhi from 11 to 17 November 2026, according to the Deccan Chronicle.
The event will take place at the Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, with daily timings from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. between 12 and 17 November.
Initiated 16 years ago, the fair seeks to make high-quality works by modern masters and emerging artists available at accessible prices.
The exhibition will feature works by artists including Arpita Singh, Ganesh Pyne, Paramjit Singh, Jogen Chowdhury, Ramananda Bandyopadhyay, Paresh Maity, Lalu Prasad Shaw, and Jayasri Burman.
Emerging artists at the fair are selected through the CIMA Art Awards, which evaluate more than 2,000 young artists from across India annually.
The show will also include traditional practitioners from Bihar, Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.
