Crime Branch finds 45 copied questions in Kerala PSC exam
Officials registered a new case after finding questions in the Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector exam were taken from online handbooks.
The Crime Branch has registered a new case after discovering that 45 questions in the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector recruitment exam were copied verbatim from online study material handbooks, according to Deccan Chronicle.
The case was filed on Friday following a complaint by Rahul Raj, a resident of Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, against unidentified Kerala PSC officials.
The FIR alleges that the examination included 45 questions taken from online platforms, including Sanfoundry.com and Scamveda Online Study Materials.
The complaint further states that the rank list published on 2 September 2024 included ineligible candidates, which deprived qualified individuals of employment opportunities.
Other alleged irregularities include the addition of two extra courses as eligible qualifications before the application deadline and the inclusion of candidates who did not meet physical standards.
The case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act and various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
