Music composer Salim Merchant recently shared a video on social media showing singer Shreya Ghoshal recording a song at his music studio in Mumbai, according to The Hawk and Telangana Today.
The video shows Ghoshal recording the song 'Tu Hi Wajah' inside a recording booth while wearing headphones. Merchant was seen monitoring the vocals and the recording process.
Ghoshal's son, Devyaan, was also featured in the video alongside his father, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya. Devyaan was seen eating biscuits and clinging to his mother while she worked.
Merchant described the recording as a masterclass and noted that Ghoshal was precise and in the right feel. He also mentioned Raj Pandit for his contribution to the vocal recording and production.
The song 'Tu Hi Wajah' is part of the 2026 project 'Bhoomi' and features music by Salim-Sulaiman. Ghoshal and Mukhopadhyaya, who married in February 2015, welcomed Devyaan on May 22, 2021.
