The 62-year-old General Secretary passed away in Hyderabad following a cardiac arrest.
A Pochappa, the General Secretary of the Hyderabad District Kho-Kho Association, passed away in Hyderabad following a cardiac arrest, according to Telangana Today.
Pochappa was 62 years old and had held the position of General Secretary of the association since 2002.
He served as the Physical Director at Keshav Memorial High School in Narayanguda from 2003 to 2022 and worked as a sports contributor for the Telugu daily Andhra Jyothi for many years.
As president of the Unemployed Physical Education Teachers' Association of undivided Andhra Pradesh, he participated in movements for the welfare of physical education teachers.
His efforts helped secure the recruitment of 1,130 Physical Education Teacher (PET) posts across the State in 2002.
