Digital platform launched to promote tourism in Maharashtra's Konkan region
The Explore Konkan website and mobile application aim to connect tourists with destinations and businesses across four districts.
A social and digital platform called Explore Konkan has been developed to promote tourism across the Konkan region of Maharashtra, according to The Tribune and ANI.
The platform covers the districts of Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg through a website and mobile application launched in May 2025.
It provides information on destinations, local culture, festivals, cuisine and local products to help tourists understand available facilities and experiences.
The service allows tourism-related businesses, such as hotels, resorts, homestays, villas and agro-tourism projects, to register and offer booking facilities.
Tour and travel companies can also register on the platform to share details regarding their services.
The proprietor of the platform is Satish Mahadeo Kadam, who asserts exclusive rights to the Explore Konkan name and logo.
The business has obtained copyright registration for the name, along with GST, Udyam and Shops and Establishments Act registrations.
