Adilabad CSC operator arrested for alleged illegal money-lending
Police seized promissory notes and blank cheque leaves from the accused, who allegedly charged farmers exorbitant interest rates.
A customer service centre (CSC) operator, Ade Kailash, was arrested on Monday in Echoda for allegedly running an illegal money-lending business, according to Telangana Today.
Police stated that Kailash was fleecing farmers by providing loans at exorbitant rates of interest under the guise of operating a CSC.
During the arrest, authorities seized promissory notes and blank cheque leaves from his possession.
The police also found that Kailash was misusing bank stamps.
A case has been registered against the accused for operating the illegal business, and investigations have been taken up.
