Northeast Frontier Railway celebrates Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in Maligaon
General Manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava administered a pledge to reaffirm commitment to national unity and integrity during the event.
Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) marked the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at its Maligaon headquarters, according to the Free Press Journal.
General Manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava led the celebrations at the N.F. Railway headquarters complex alongside senior staff and officers. Shrivastava administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to promote national security, integrity, and unity.
The occasion was also observed at the office of General Manager (Construction) Ashish Bansal. All five divisions of the N.F. Railway held celebrations for the day.
Officers and employees took part in a “Run for Unity” organised as part of the programme. The event was held to recognise the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the integration of the nation.
