Indian Army to hold recruitment rally in Secunderabad on November 2
The Defence Security Corps will conduct a re-enrolment rally for retired EME personnel as Sepoy (General Duty).
The Defence Security Corps (DSC) will hold a recruitment rally at the 1 EME Centre in Secunderabad on November 2, according to reports from The Hindu, Telangana Today and Deccan Chronicle.
The rally is for the re-enrolment of retired personnel from the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) into the DSC as Sepoy (General Duty).
The recruitment is exclusively for retired EME personnel of the Other Ranks who served in the trades of Armourer, Driver MT, Operator, or Driver Recovery.
Eligible ex-servicemen must have retired within the last two years and must not exceed 46 years of age as of October 1, 2026.
Applicants are required to be in the SHAPE-1 medical category and must report to the Recruitment Cell at the 1 EME Centre Headquarters at 7.30 a.m. on November 2.
