Communication with BJP stopped for good after 2019, says Uddhav Thackeray
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray stated that contact with the BJP has not resumed since the 2019 Assembly polls.
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray said on Saturday that communication with the BJP stopped in 2019 and never resumed.
Thackeray was speaking at the launch of 'Bodh Kirtan', a book by Sena (UBT) MP and Saamana executive editor Sanjay Raut.
The remarks came after Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said two days ago that he always responded positively when Uddhav Thackeray called him.
Thackeray responded by saying that calls to some people stopped and then they stopped for good.
During the function, MNS chief Raj Thackeray spoke about Sanjay Raut's journey as a journalist and his long-standing bond with him.
Raj Thackeray also recalled how Sanjay Raut became the executive editor of Saamana after Bal Thackeray liked his quality of publishing an interview without omitting expletives.
