Odisha re-opens portal for Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana scholarships
Eligible students can apply for various government scholarship schemes through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal until November 20, 2026.
The Odisha government has re-opened the portal for the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana scheme, according to Kalinga TV. This second phase allows eligible students to apply for government scholarships for the 2026-27 year.
The Higher Education Department stated that fresh students can apply for several schemes, including e-Medhabruti (UG Merit, PG Merit, Technical and Professional Merit), Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme, and Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana.
Eligible applicants pursuing general UG (+3) courses, PG courses, and technical or professional courses in SAMS and Non-SAMS institutions can submit applications. These include UGC, AICTE, and MCI affiliated universities and medical or engineering institutions.
The online application process, which began on November 5, will remain open until November 20, 2026. Applications must be submitted through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (OSSP).
Validation for the e-Medhabruti and Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti schemes is available until November 30, 2026. For the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana, validation lasts until December 15 at the DWO and OSACS level.
