Fire breaks out at hardware shop in Abohar's Lakkar Mandi area

A fire broke out at a hardware store in the Lakkar Mandi area of Abohar, Punjab, on Sunday, according to reports by ANI and The News Mill.
The blaze occurred at a shop named Som Hardware. Officials dispatched seven fire tenders to the location to douse the flames.
Abohar Fire Officer Barinder Singh told ANI that the fire broke out at Lakkar Mandi and said the cause might be a short circuit.
A preliminary assessment suggests an electrical short circuit is suspected to have triggered the fire.
Firefighting operations are currently underway. Details regarding property damage or casualties are yet to be confirmed.
