Two missiles strike Qeshm Island in southern Iran
Local witnesses reported hearing an aircraft before two projectiles hit the Suza area, according to the Deccan Herald.
Two missiles struck the Suza area of Qeshm Island in southern Iran, according to reports from the state news agency IRNA, as cited by the Deccan Herald on Saturday.
The state news agency reported that local witnesses heard the sound of an aircraft over the island before the two projectiles hit the area.
Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency said on Saturday that initial reports indicated the strikes, but noted there was no official information regarding possible damage.
Tasnim stated that further details would be released once relevant authorities confirm the incident.
Separately, Qatar’s International Media Office denied claims that the United States and Iran had failed to reach a deal to end their war, calling such allegations false and misleading.
The office said the Qatari prime minister affirmed that both sides are continuing to work toward an agreement through ongoing mediation efforts coordinated with Washington and Tehran.
