Yamaha reveals Tenere 4 Concept adventure motorcycle ahead of EICMA 2026
The new concept features an all-new liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine and adventure-bike aesthetics.
Yamaha has revealed the Tenere 4 Concept, a new entry-level offering in its off-road and adventure lineup, according to a report by RushLane.
The concept was showcased ahead of EICMA 2026 and features a design intended for both off-roading and highway touring.
The motorcycle is expected to feature an all-new liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with approximately 400cc of displacement. This engine is reportedly not related to the 395cc single-cylinder engine used in the discontinued XMAX 400 maxi scooter.
The Tenere 4 Concept follows adventure-bike aesthetics with a front beak, tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and generous ground clearance. It includes a low, flat fuel tank, a rally-style seat, and high-set handlebars for an upright riding posture.
The bike is equipped with KYB front and rear suspension, which could be fully adjustable. It also features 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels fitted with Michelin Anakee Wild tyres.
Other notable components include an all-new mainframe tuned for lightness and agility, a box section rear swingarm, and an Akrapovic branded up-swept exhaust system. More details on the motorcycle are expected in the future.
