CBSE and UP boards open correction windows for 2027 exam data
Students can amend particulars for Class 10 and 12 examinations through official portals until November deadlines.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) have opened correction windows for students appearing in the 2027 Class 10 and 12 examinations. According to the Hindustan Times, the CBSE window for List of Candidates (LOC) data is available on cbse.gov.in and will close on November 7, 2026.
The CBSE correction window allows changes to a candidate's name, date of birth, father, mother, or guardian's name, and offered subjects. The board stated that this opportunity helps schools, parents, and students ensure correct data is filled in the LOC to assist in the smooth conduct of examinations.
Separately, the UPMSP has opened a window to amend educational information for the 2027 High School and Intermediate exams. Business Standard reported that the link on upmsp.edu.in will remain accessible from November 2, 2026, until midnight on November 12, 2026.
The UP Board window allows corrections to student names, spelling, gender, caste category, subject, stream, medium of examination, photograph, and High School roll numbers. Principals must submit paperwork for certain offline corrections, such as date of birth or complete name changes, to the District Inspector of Schools' office by November 16, 2026.
The UP Board main examinations are scheduled from February 5, 2027, to February 24, 2027, with results expected on April 23, 2027. Both boards have noted that no further changes will be accepted after the respective deadlines.
