Karnataka BJP President alleges state government is targeting HDK over sting issue
BY Vijayendra claimed the Congress administration is attempting to fix Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy instead of conducting a fair investigation.
Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has accused the ruling Congress administration of targeting Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy regarding a sting operation controversy, according to ANI.
Vijayendra told reporters that the state government is attempting to implicate Kumaraswamy rather than identifying the mastermind or the financiers behind the alleged operation.
The BJP leader claimed the Congress government has previously used sting operations and CD factories for political gain and blackmail.
He alleged that the so-called CD factory has moved from the KPCC office to Vidhana Soudha and claimed that even Congress ministers are fearful of such recordings being released.
Vijayendra stated that internal factionalism and a desire for power within the Congress party have led to a leadership crisis and that the controversy will eventually impact the Chief Minister.
The BJP state president demanded that Chief Minister DK Shivakumar order an impartial and comprehensive probe into the matter to reach a logical conclusion.
