Shah Rukh Khan celebrates 61st birthday with handwritten note to fans
The actor shared a message of gratitude via a billboard at his Mumbai residence as fans gathered to celebrate.
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 61st birthday on November 2 in Mumbai. According to reports from ETV Bharat, Prabhat Khabar, and Hindustan Times, large crowds of fans gathered outside his residence, Mannat, to mark the occasion.
While the actor did not appear on his balcony this year because he has temporarily moved out of the Bandra bungalow, he shared a handwritten message of thanks. A billboard at Mannat displayed his note, in which he expressed gratitude for the affection and well-wishes received from his supporters, adding that he was sending his own love back to them.
The celebrations also included large-scale projections at his home featuring visuals from his upcoming film, King. Hindustan Times reported that the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was also illuminated with images and greetings for the superstar on Sunday.
King is a home production by Red Chillies Entertainment and is scheduled for theatrical release on December 24, 2026. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film will feature Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Abhishek Bachchan.
