The Chief Minister instructed ministers to prioritise public grievance redressal and ensure adequate winter preparedness in remote areas.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday directed ministers to accelerate ongoing development projects and ensure preparedness for the winter season, according to the Daily Excelsior.

Abdullah chaired a review meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu to assess administrative functioning and developmental priorities following the reopening of offices after the Darbar Move.

The Chief Minister instructed newly-appointed ministers to conduct immediate reviews of their departments and prioritise addressing public grievances, his office stated in a post on X.

With the working season ending, Abdullah stressed the need to expedite project execution and maintain sufficient stocks of essential commodities, particularly in remote areas.

The Chief Minister also emphasised the importance of time-bound and people-centric budgetary planning. He directed departments to formulate proposals that align with the needs and priorities of the people.
