Jukkal MLA alleges verbal abuse by Health Minister in New Delhi
Laxmikantha Rao is preparing to file a complaint with the AICC and TPCC following a confrontation at a hotel in the national capital.
Jukkal MLA Laxmikantha Rao accused Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha of verbally abusing him during a confrontation in New Delhi, according to Telangana Today.
The incident reportedly occurred in the lobby of Hotel Shangri-La in front of party leaders. Laxmikantha Rao told his supporters that the Minister used objectionable language and threatened him with physical assault.
The two leaders have been in disagreement for several weeks regarding the selection of the Sangareddy DCC president and various other party positions. The Minister reportedly disagreed with the involvement of the Jukkal MLA in these appointments.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and other Ministers were in the national capital for a party programme when the altercation took place. A few MLAs from the Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts witnessed the event.
Laxmikantha Rao is now taking the matter seriously and intends to lodge a complaint with the AICC and TPCC. Party sources stated that the MLA wants action to be taken against the Minister.
