Actor Shahid Kapoor shared several anecdotes about his relationship with Mira Rajput during an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The appearance included Ishaan Khatter, who spoke about his equation with the couple.
Recalling his courtship, Kapoor said his green hair for the film Udta Punjab shocked Mira Rajput's father when he first visited her home in Delhi. Kapoor described his father-in-law as a disciplined engineer and an IITian who froze upon seeing the look.
Kapoor also mentioned that Rajput was stressed after watching the film in an edit room when they were newly married. He noted that Rajput was the person who convinced him to do the film Kabir Singh.
Rajput shared details about their first meeting, stating they spoke for seven hours without realising the time. She recalled Kapoor asking her to take a photo of his shoes because they glowed in the dark when a flash was used.
The actor explained that the shoes absorbed light to prevent paparazzi from capturing clear images during the early stages of paparazzi culture. Rajput also mentioned seeing the film Haider a few weeks before meeting Kapoor.
The couple's son, Zayn, was born in 2018, according to The Indian Express.
