Four people died after entering a food waste tank at Shri Ganga Hotel on the Ujjain-Dewas Road in Madhya Pradesh, according to reports from The Indian Express and Deccan Herald.
The incident occurred at approximately 11 pm on Saturday. Ujjain Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma told reporters that the four individuals apparently died of suffocation after getting trapped inside the chamber while cleaning it.

Two other individuals who entered the tank to attempt a rescue fell ill and are currently receiving hospital treatment. District Collector Raushan Kumar Singh said it appears two people entered the tank for cleaning, and two others entered to rescue them.
