Fakhar Zaman scored a century as Pakistan chased down 326 to equal a record set by India in 2002.

Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets in the One-Day International tri-series final in Lahore on Saturday. The hosts reached 331 for seven in 48.3 overs to complete the chase of 326 with nine balls to spare.

Fakhar Zaman scored 127 off 99 balls to lead the innings. He shared a 149-run partnership with Saad Baig, who scored 74. Arafat Minhas and Hasan Nawaz then put on a 94-run partnership to finish the match.

Earlier, Sri Lanka posted 325 for eight. Kamindu Mendis scored 131 off 128 balls, while Pavan Rathnayake contributed 77. The two players shared a 146-run partnership.

Pakistan bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets for 50 runs, removing Dasun Shanaka and Rathnayake. Naseem Shah also took a wicket, dismissing Sahan Arachchige.

The victory marks Pakistan's first ODI tri-series title since 2008, when they defeated India in the Kitply Cup final in Bangladesh. The successful chase of 326 equals India's 2002 record against England at Lord's.
