Abhishek Choudhary scored 22 points for Rajasthan, while Advay Khator scored 13 points for Telangana during the match.
In the boys' upper pool, Madhya Pradesh beat Kerala 83-45, with Prashant Singh scoring 26 points for Madhya Pradesh and S R Niranjan scoring 10 points for Kerala.
In the girls' upper pool, Kerala maintained an unbeaten record to reach the quarterfinals after defeating Madhya Pradesh 71-50. Subhadara Jayakumar scored 17 points and Brisa Binu scored 12 points for Kerala.
Delhi beat Uttar Pradesh 62-60 in the girls' league, while Chandigarh and Haryana won their qualifying knockout matches to enter the pre-quarterfinals.
In the boys' qualifying knockout matches, Chandigarh beat Karnataka 87-53 through the efforts of Yashender and Mukund Khoiwal, and Uttarakhand defeated Chhattisgarh 67-63.
