Fire guts furniture warehouse in Jaipur

A fire broke out at a furniture warehouse in the Khaniya Bandha area of Jaipur late on Friday night, according to ThePrint.
The blaze originated in the Kho Nagoriyan police station area and destroyed all raw materials used for furniture production stored inside the facility.
Police said no casualties were reported in the incident. More than a dozen fire trucks were deployed to the scene to combat the flames.
Firefighters worked for nearly six hours to extinguish the fire, which required 22 trips to transport water to the site. The electricity supply to the surrounding area was interrupted during the operation.
Police stated that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and an investigation is currently underway.
