Milwaukee Bucks player Myles Turner joins pet meal donation campaign
The NBA player will donate 250 pet meals for every point scored during the 2026-2027 regular season.
Milwaukee Bucks centre Myles Turner has joined the More Than a Pet campaign to support underserved pet owners in the United States, according to the Times of India.
As an ambassador for Humane World for Animals, Turner will participate in the Points for Pets program during the 2026-2027 NBA regular season.
Under the initiative, 250 meals will be donated for every point Turner scores, while every three-pointer will provide 1,000 meals.
The campaign includes an online progress tracker on the More Than a Pet website to monitor scoring performances and the resulting meal counts.
Turner follows previous participants such as Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride, who contributed 319,750 meals in 2026, and Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball, who provided 296,000 meals in 2024.
Humane World for Animals stated that approximately 20 million pets live with families in poverty, and around 70 per cent of those animals have never visited a vet.
