Trump offers White House press secretary role to UFC chief Dana White

The US President requested the mixed martial arts executive to bring several fighters as assistants to help defend against the opposition.

US President Donald Trump has offered the position of White House press secretary to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) chief executive Dana White, according to reports by The Times of India, Economic Times and India Today.

In a post on Truth Social on Saturday, Trump described White as a "violent Fighter and Warrior" and urged him to accept the role. The president also requested that White bring a team of assistants, including fighters who are not from the United States.

The fighters named by Trump to join White include Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harris. Trump stated that these individuals would be needed to defend the administration against the "Lunatic Left."

The offer follows the departure of Katie Zacharia, who held the post for five days before exiting on October 16. The vacancy comes after Karoline Leavitt left the position in August to focus on her children.

White and Trump have maintained a long-standing relationship, with the president frequently attending UFC events. White has previously supported Trump's political campaigns and spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention.

A response from White regarding the offer has not yet been received.
