Telangana Tourism presents heritage and culture at WTM London 2026
The state aims to attract international visitors and tourism investments through a dedicated pavilion at the three-day exhibition in the United Kingdom.
Telangana Tourism showcased the state's cultural, spiritual, and natural attractions at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, according to The Hindu. Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the Telangana Tourism Pavilion at the international exhibition held at ExCeL London from November 3 to 5.
The exhibition highlights several sites, including the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Ramappa Temple, Warangal Fort, and Thousand Pillar Temple. Other featured locations are Nagarjunasagar, Buddhavanam, Ananthagiri Hills, Laknavaram Lake, Bogatha Waterfalls, and the Kaleshwaram region.
The pavilion promotes Hyderabad as a global hub for medical tourism, gastronomy, shopping, entertainment, heritage tourism, and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE).
An official stated that the Telangana delegation is conducting business-to-business meetings and networking sessions with airlines, hospitality groups, travel agents, and potential investors. These efforts seek to build strategic partnerships in European and United Kingdom markets.
The state is also working to develop customised tourism circuits and promote lesser-known destinations. Officials said they are exploring international collaborations in nature-based, spiritual, and experiential tourism.
