Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and Transport Minister Javed Ahmed Rana had previously visited the affected shopkeepers last week. They expressed solidarity and assured traders that the government is aware of their difficulties.
The district administration has already forwarded relief cases for all affected shopkeepers to the Chief Minister. These cases are for the consideration and sanction of appropriate financial assistance.
