Diljit Dosanjh says crowd management concerns led to cancelled Bihar concert
The singer explained that he could not take responsibility for managing large crowds during an Instagram Live session.
Singer Diljit Dosanjh revealed that a planned concert in Bihar could not take place because of difficulties regarding crowd management, according to reports by The Indian Express, Hindustan Times and Outlook.
During an Instagram Live session following his October 30 concert in Delhi, the musician stated that attempts were made to perform in Bihar last year.
Dosanjh said organisers asked if he would take responsibility for managing the large crowds, but he responded that he could not and that they would have to take that responsibility.
The singer noted that managing such a massive gathering involves complex logistics similar to organising an event in Delhi.
The Delhi concert, which kicked off the AURA India Tour 2026, was initially uncertain after Delhi Police denied permission due to security concerns, but it proceeded after organisers agreed to additional measures.
Dosanjh is scheduled to perform in Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29, Lucknow on December 5, Chandigarh on December 12 and Kolkata on December 19.
