Mysuru Dasara illumination extended till Sunday for Rajyotsava
The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation decided to extend the lighting at major circles and prominent roads by one day.
The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) has extended the Dasara illumination in Mysuru until November 1, according to a report by The Hindu.
The illumination was originally scheduled to conclude on October 31. However, CESC decided to extend the lighting by one day to add to the festive spirit of the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations.
The illumination will continue at prominent roads and major circles. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the illumination of the Mysuru Palace.
The special illumination has previously attracted a large number of visitors, and the city experienced traffic congestion during the festivities. The extension comes as November 1 falls on a Sunday.
